End of season mushroom

This small mushroom looks like it’s been through a lot. It was the end of season (early November) and this little guy looked to be ready for a long winter nap. The scale on this picture is deceiving as the mushroom is, in actuality, only about half an inch (1.25cm) tall. This photo was taken with extension tubes and using focus stacking in Photoshop.
